Park Overview
The Luxi Economic Development Zone in Liaocheng, Shandong, was established in March 2002. In 2006, it was approved by the Shandong Provincial Government as a “provincial-level industrial park.” In June 2009, it merged with Xinting Subdistrict to form a unified town-district entity, and in October 2009, it was renamed the “Luxi Economic Development Zone” with the approval of the provincial government.
Located in the northern part of Shenxian County, the development zone covers a total area of 17 square kilometers. With an investment of 300 million yuan, the zone has prioritized the construction of infrastructure such as water supply, electricity, roads, and telecommunications.
Six major pillar industries have been established: the bio-protein industry, led by Jiahua Health Products and Guanhua Protein Casings; the deep-processing industry for agricultural by-products, led by Lixin Foods, Shengda Foods, and Xinjia Feed;the light textile industry led by Feitai Textiles and Dihuang Knitting; the new energy industry represented by Delong Electric Vehicles; the high-tech industry represented by solar thin-film batteries; and the steel and machinery processing industry driven by Silian Square Tubes and Walkerzhaohua Heavy Industry.
