Luquantun Town, belonging to Wucheng County, Dezhou City, Shandong Province, is located in the northwestern part of Wucheng County, on the east bank of Wei Canal, bordering Wucheng Town in the east, neighboring Jiamaying Town in the south, facing Gucheng County, Hebei Province, across the Wei Canal in the west, and adjoining Siyuji Town in the northwest, with an area of 163.21 square kilometers of administrative area. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Luquantun Town was 74,362.
During the Ming Yongle period (1403-1424), the 6 villages of Lu Shao, Guan Xinzhuang, Guan Ling, Ren Machi, Chen Qi and Wang Qi inhabited by the 4 brothers of Luquan, Ren Shing, Guan Zeng and Guan Gui's aunt cousins, and their descendants, were collectively known as Luguantun; in November 1993, the township was withdrawn to build the township of Luguantun; in May 2000, 18 villages of the southern part of the former Mazhuang Township were returned to the town of Luguantun; in June 2008, the former Tengzhuang Township was transferred to the town of Luguantun. In June 2008, the former Tengzhuang Township was transferred to the jurisdiction of Luguantun Township; in January 2011, the jurisdiction of the former Siyousi Township was transferred to Siyousi Township. As of June 2020, Luguantun Town has 82 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Wangxiantun Village.
