Qingfu Town, belonging to Gao County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, is located in the central part of Gao County, east of Wenjiang Town, south of Wenjiang Town, Kejiu Town, west of Si Lie Township; north of Qingling Township, Fuxing Township, with an administrative area of 178.63 square kilometers.
In the fourth year of Tang Zhenguan (630), it belonged to Shimen County; in 1992, Shimen, Quzhou, Guaru 3 townships and Qingfu Township were merged to form Qingfu Township; in 2006, Turning Township was merged into Qingfu Township; in August 2019, Si Lie Township was abolished, and its Hope Community, Xianfeng Community, Jinxing Village, Yonghua Village, Xingguang Village, Si Lie Village, Dahua Village, Miao'er Village, Shuiwell Village, Dianzi Village, Yanchun Village and Shuitang Village were transferred to Qingfu Township. The administrative area is assigned to the jurisdiction of Qingfu Town. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Qingfu Town is 76,666. As of June 2020, Qingfu Town has 11 communities and 26 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the town's people's government stationed in New Town Community.
