Databa Township belongs to Baoshan City Changning County, is located in Baoshan Longyang, Dali Yongping, Baoshan Changning three counties (districts) at the junction of the northwestern part of Changning County, east of expanse of water townships, south of Tianyuan Township and Kejie Township, the west neighboring Lonyang District, Prop Ma Township, the north of the Lancang River and the Dali State, Yongping County, the countryside across the river, the township government seat from the county town of 57 kilometers.
Databa Township has a land area of (312) square kilometers, mainly in mountainous areas, with an average elevation of 1,700 meters, an average annual temperature of 17℃, an annual precipitation of 1,100 millimeters, a common cultivated land area of 25,166 acres, with a per capita arable land of 1.1 acres, and a forested land of 301,721 acres, with a forest coverage rate of 62%. It is suitable for planting crops and economic fruits such as rice, corn, wheat, fava beans, potatoes, baking tobacco, tea, pickled walnuts, rapeseed, sugarcane and egg fruit.
