Miaopo Township, the old township name, belongs to Wanyuan City, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, located in the northeastern part of Wanyuan City, adjacent to Dazhu Township in the east, Baiguo Township in the south, Caojia Township in the southwest, Piwu Township in the west, Zixi Township in the north, with an area of 77.75 square kilometers in administrative area. It was liberated in December 1949.In March 1984, the commune was changed to a township.In June 2020, Miaopo Township was abolished, and the administrative area under it was transferred to the jurisdiction of Dazhu Township.
