Xinping Town (has been withdrawn and merged into Nanfeng Town), belonging to Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, is located in the northwestern part of Guanghan City, on the banks of the beautiful Wuijiang River (Duck River), only 3 kilometers away from the town of Luo, the center of Guanghan City, and the world-famous Sanshingdui across the river, with the Sanshingdui Bridge connecting. The town covers an area of 17.77 square kilometers, with eight administrative villages, one neighborhood committee, 77 rural cooperatives and a total population of 14,870 (2017).
