Gao'an City, alias Jianjian, Ruizhou, Gyunzhou, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangxi Province, administered by Yichun City, is located in the central northwestern part of Jiangxi Province, west of the city of Nanchang, and belongs to the plains of the lower and middle reaches of the Yangtze River, 42 kilometers away from the city of Nanchang, with an area of 2,439.33 square kilometers.
