Pingdu Township, belonging to Anfu County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the east-central part of Anfu County, east of Fengtian Township, south of Liaotang Township and Zhujiang Township, west of Henglong Township, and north of Shanzhuang Township. The town has a total land area of 77.59 square kilometers, under the jurisdiction of 19 administrative villages, 6 communities. The seat of the town's people's government is situated in Xinya Natural Village, Zuojia Village, Pingdu Township. At the end of 2019, there were 89,800 people with household registration under the jurisdiction of Pingdu Town. Pingdu Town is the political, economic and cultural center of Anfu County. In the town, there are Confucius Temple, Dongshan Wenta, Dongyuan Pavilion, Lianfangan and other famous monuments. There are National Highway 220 and National Highway 322 passing through the territory of Pingdu Town. At the end of 2019, Pingdu Town had 155 industrial enterprises and 58 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of 50 square meters or more.
