Dingnan County, Jiangxi Province, Ganzhou City County, located in the southern border of Jiangxi Province, one of the Hakka settlements, is the source of the Dongjiang River District County, Gan-Guangdong Inter-border Regional Tourism Demonstration County, the provincial-level Ping'an County, the first batch of the national county soccer typical, the national advanced unit of mass sports, the National Science and Technology Demonstration County. In the third year of Longqing of the Ming Dynasty (1569), the county was established by cutting the seven forts of Xinfeng, Longnan and Anyuan.
