Zixi County, belonging to Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the central east of Jiangxi Province, east of Fuzhou City, east of Fujian Province, Fujian Province, Glossy County, south of Lichuan County, west of Nancheng County junction, northwest of Jinxi County, northeast of the border Guixi City. The county covers an area of 1,251 square kilometers, with seven townships under its jurisdiction.At the end of 2022, Zixi County had a household population of 113,300, of which 50,000 were urban and 63,300 were rural.
Luxi County was founded in 1578 and renamed Zixi County in 1914. Jiguang Expressway, Fuji Expressway, National Highway 316 and Yingxia Railway pass through the county. In 2022, Zixi County will realize a GDP of 5.572 billion yuan, an increase of 5.2% compared with 2021, of which the added value of the primary industry will be 462 million yuan, the added value of the secondary industry will be 1.614 billion yuan, and the added value of the tertiary industry will be 3.495 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 3.5%, 4.7% and 5.6% respectively.
