Ping'an Town, belonging to Jilin City, Jilin Province, Shulan City, is located in the northeast of Shulan City, is the border town in Jilin Province, east of the town border with the town of Jinma, south of the township connected with the seven miles, west of the city of Yushu, north of the city of Heilongjiang Province with the Wu Chang City, the border of the Shanhe Township, from Shulan City, 27 km, with a regional area of 159.04 square kilometers. In the twenty-seventh year of the Republic of China (1938), Ping'an Township territory set up Ping'an Village; in November 1984, it was changed from Ping'an Township to Ping'an Township.
