Da'an City, the county-level city of Baicheng City, Jilin Province, is located in northwestern Jilin Province, east of Zhaoyuan County, Heilongjiang Province, across the river, west of Taonan City, Tongyu County border, south of Songyuan City, and north of Zhenlai County with the Tao'er River as the border. As of October 2022, Da'an City has a total area of 4,879 square kilometers, under the jurisdiction of 10 towns, 8 townships (1 Mongolian township), 5 streets, 10 stations, 223 administrative villages, 619 natural cantons, with a provincial economic development zone.At the end of 2021, Da'an City had a total population of 369,100 people.In 2019, it was awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs as the National Agricultural Product Quality Safety County Title. Da'an has a long history, in ancient times, there are Fuyu, Murowe, Khitan, Jurchen and Mongolia and other ethnic groups in this area to hunt and gather and prosper, has found 104 ancient cultural relics such as Neolithic ruins, Yinshang and Hanshu ruins, Liao and Jin Banshan ruins, and the Qing Dynasty Princess Mausoleum.
