Yanfeng District, belongs to Hengyang City, Hunan Province. It is bordered by Zhuhui District to the east. The south is neighboring Hennan County. To the west, it is bordered by Steamboat District. It is bordered by Shigu District to the north, with a total area of 93.2 square kilometers.In 2022, Yanfeng District had a resident population of 247,300, and a household population of 185,600.In October 2022, Yanfeng District was under the jurisdiction of five streets and one town. Yanfeng is named after the city's first of the 72 peaks of Nanyue, the Taoist Yanfeng (廻雁峰) which is located in the center of the city. The city was founded in 1942 as the second and first districts of Hengyang, and was renamed Chengnan District of Hengyang in 1955. 2001 saw the abolition of Chengnan District and the establishment of Yanfeng District. In 2022, the gross regional product of Yanfeng District was 31.04 billion yuan, an increase of 4.19%. The added value of primary industry is 234 million yuan, the added value of secondary industry is 17.647 billion yuan; the added value of tertiary industry is 13.159 billion yuan, and the structure of the three industries is 0.76:56.85:42.39.
