Fancheng District, belonging to Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, is located in the northwestern part of Hubei Province, in the middle reaches of the Han River, with geographic coordinates of 111°45′-113°47′ E, 31°13′-32°35′ N. Fancheng District borders Xiangzhou District to the east and the north, Xiangcheng District to the south on the boundary of the Hanjiang River, and Gucheng County and Laohukou City to the west.
