Lushan County, belonging to the city of Pingdingshan, Henan Province, is located in the central and western part of Henan Province, the eastern foot of the Funiushan Mountains, the county covers an area of 2,432.32 square kilometers, with the jurisdiction of four streets, seven towns and 13 townships, the terrain is high in the west and low in the east, surrounded by mountains in the north, west and south, and is known as the "seven mountains, one water and two fields". As of the end of 2022, Lushan County had a resident population of 775,499.
Lushan ancient name Luyang, since the Han set up the county, the Tang began to name Lushan so far, has spawned the Spring and Autumn and Warring States period thinker Mozi, the Tang Dynasty writer Yuan Jie, Song Dynasty anti-Jin general Niu Gaogao, modern poets such as Xu Yuno a large number of historical and cultural celebrities. There are the ruins of the oldest Chu Great Wall in China, two highways, Zheng Yao and Er Guang, intersect here, Jiaozhi Railway, two national highways 311 and 207 and three provincial highways running through the county.
In 2022, Lushan County's gross domestic product completed 20.4 billion yuan, an increase of 5.4%. in July 2020, the National Health Council decided to name Chang Lushan County as a national health county in the 2017-2019 cycle.
