Caofeidian District, belonging to Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the center of the Bohai Sea, south of Tangshan, adjacent to the two major cities of Beijing and Tianjin, south of the Bohai Sea, and Dalian, Yantai, as well as North Korea and South Korea across the sea, with a total area of 2,114 square kilometers, of which 1,408.14 square kilometers of land, jurisdiction of the sea area of 705.86 square kilometers.
