Wuqiang County, belonging to Hengshui City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Hebei Province. South of Hengshui, north of Beijing and Tianjin, east of Cangzhou, west of Shijiazhuang, Wuqiang County has a total area of 445 square kilometers. Wuqiang County territory of Busan River, Hutuo River through the territory, Shi Huang high-speed and 307 National Highway crosses the east and west, belongs to the temperate monsoon climate, the frost-free period of 185 days, the average annual precipitation in the 554 millimeters or so. As of the end of 2021, the household population of Wuqiang County was 206,550. In 1993, Wuqiang County was named by the Ministry of Culture as the "Hometown of Chinese Woodblock Printing Art" and the "Hometown of Chinese Folk Art".In 2006, Wuqiang County was assessed by UNESCO as the "Ancient County of the Thousand Years".In 2021, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Wuqiang County amounted to RMB 7,767,840,000 yuan, representing a growth of 6.7% compared with that of the previous year. On September 25, 2018, Wuqiang County was awarded the honorary title of "2018 Comprehensive Demonstration County of E-commerce into Rural Areas" by the Ministry of Commerce. on May 5, 2019, the Hebei Provincial Government issued a notice formally approving Wuqiang County's withdrawal from the sequence of poverty-stricken counties. in September 2020, Wuqiang County was selected as one of the strongest counties (municipalities and districts) of the Hebei Province in the food industry (cultivation) list. In March 2021, it was honored as an advanced county (city and district) for the 2020 Hebei Province Village Cleaning Action.
