Pokou Town, belonging to Wei County, Handan City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of Wei County, east of the teeth of the town as a neighbor, south of the border with the Songcun Township, Neihuang County, Henan Province, west of the junction with the town of Huilong, north of the town of South Shuangmiao adjoining. The area of jurisdiction is 42.71 square kilometers. As of the end of 2020, the household population of Bokou Town was 54,986. During the Republic of China period, it belonged to Da Ming County.In 1984, it was re-established as Bokou Township.On May 10, 2021, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Bokou Township was changed to Bokou Township in the change of sub-county administrative divisions of the People's Republic of China in 2020.Bokou Township is a part of Da Ming County.
