Sucao Township, under the Handan City, Hebei Province, Congtai District, is located in the northeastern part of Congtai District, east of Kam East Street and Handan County, south to the north bank of the Qin River and Congtai District, Mingliangqiao Street cross, west to 107 National Road and Fuxing District, north to lose the Yuan River and Handan County, Huangliangmeng Township borders. The area of the jurisdiction is 8 square kilometers. As of the end of 2018, the household population of Sucao Township was 3,612. In October 1956, Su Cao Township was established.In September 1958, it was reestablished as Su Cao Commune.In April 1984, it was reestablished as Su Cao Township.In April 1986, the suburb of Handan City was abolished, and Su Cao Township was assigned to Congtai District of Handan City. As of June 2020, Sucao Township has 12 communities under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located at 130 Lianfeng Road.
