Gaobeidian City, Baoding City, Hebei Province, county-level city, is located in the central part of Hebei Province, north of Baoding City, between longitude 115°47′24″~116°12′40″E and latitude 39°5′53″~39°23′17″N. The city has a total area of 672 square kilometers. The total area of the whole territory is 672 square kilometers. The western part is Taihang Mountain flood alluvial plain and the eastern part is river alluvial plain. The terrain slopes gently from northwest to southeast, with an average slope descent ratio of 0.6%, and elevations ranging from 11.4 to 39.4 meters above sea level, forming a flat plain landscape. As of 2022, Gaobeidian has five streets and nine towns under its jurisdiction, with the city government stationed at No. 18 West Yingbin Road, and as of the end of 2022, Gaobeidian had a resident population of 525,863. On April 9, 1993, approved by the State Council, Xincheng County was abolished and Gaobeidian City was established at the county level. Gaobeidian City has been identified as a satellite city of the capital and a "micro center" by Hebei Province and Baoding Municipality. As of 2022, Gaobeidian City has been honored as the hometown of Chinese stoves, the National Model City of Shuanghong, the National Top 100 E-commerce Counties (Cities), and other national characters and advanced counties (cities) for economic development in Hebei Province, the Garden City of Hebei Province, Clean City of Hebei Province, Civilized City, County Construction City of Hebei Province, and the National Economic Development Center of Hebei Province. In 2022, Gaobeidian City realizes a GDP of 2,368,166,000 yuan, an increase of 4.8% over 2021.
