Guangping County, belonging to Handan City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of Hebei Province and the east of Handan City. It covers an area of 320 square kilometers, with seven towns and one provincial economic development zone, and the county government is located in Guangping Town, in the Heilonggang basin of the Haihe Plain at the eastern foot of the Taihang Mountains. Guangping County is a national garden city, a national ecological construction demonstration county, a provincial civilized city, a provincial health county, a provincial forest city, and a Sino-German ecological demonstration city.
