Feixiang District, part of Handan City, Hebei Province. It is located in the south of Hebei Province and the east of Handan City. It borders with Guangping County in the east, Cheng'an County in the south, Handanshan District in the west, and Yongnian District, Congtai District and Quzhou County in the north. It lies between 114°37′-115°01′ east longitude and 36°29′-36°40′ north latitude, with a total area of about 503 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Feixiang District has nine towns under its jurisdiction. As of the end of 2022, Feixiang District had a resident population of 365,305,000.
Feixiang was known as Feiyi in ancient times, and the name of the district originated from Feiyi, a prime minister of the State of Zhao during the Warring States period, and Feixiang was first established in the second year of Huangchu of the Three Kingdoms Wei (221). Feixiang District has one of the "Four Gentlemen" of the Warring States period, Zhao Sheng Tomb Scenic Area of the Prince of the Plains, and Dou Mo Tomb, Sacred Well, three provincial cultural relics protection units.
In 2022, Feixiang District realized GDP of 19.04285 billion yuan, of which: the added value of the primary industry completed 3.4645 billion yuan, the added value of the secondary industry completed 6.78586 billion yuan, and the added value of the tertiary industry completed 8.79249 billion yuan. Per capita GDP reached 51,649 yuan.
