Magixian, part of Handan City, Hebei Province, is located in the southern part of Hebei Province, centered about 114.37′ E and 36.38′ N. The city is a part of Handan City, Hebei Province. The total area is 688 square kilometers. Magixian has a temperate continental monsoon climate. As of October 2021, there are six towns and five townships under the jurisdiction of Magistrate County. The county people's government is located in the town of Magnetism. As of December 2021, the total population of Magnetic County is 500,000 people. Magnetic County has a history of more than 1,800 years since it was established in 222 AD. Historically, the county was named "Linshui County" for its proximity to the Busan River, and "Magnetism State" for its magnetic properties. Magnetic County is located in the hinterland of the Central Plains, and is the thoroughfare of four provinces: Jin, Hebei, Lu and Henan. Tourist attractions include the Drum Tower, Helan Mountain, Hebei Paper Horse, and the Magnetic Kiln Museum. As of the end of 2022, the GDP of Magixian completed 11.26 billion yuan, an increase of 5.7%.
