Boro County, belonging to Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, is located in the east-central part of Guangdong Province and the northern part of Huizhou City. It is connected with Heyuan Yancheng District and Zijin County in the east, Huiyang District and Dongguan in the south, Guangzhou Zengcheng District in the west and Longmen County in the north. Boro is the hub and fortress of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the throat of the economic growth belt of the Beijing-Kowloon Railway. Boro is the largest contiguous developable county in the Pearl River Delta. It is a pilot county in Guangdong Province directly supervising the county's financial reform.
