Dongyuan County, belongs to Heyuan City, Guangdong Province. Located in northeastern Guangdong Province and the middle and upper reaches of the Dongjiang River, it is bordered by Longchuan and Wuhua counties to the east, Yuancheng and Zijin counties to the south, Longmen and Xinfeng counties to the west, and Heping and Lianping counties to the north, with a total area of 4,070 square kilometers.
