Dachang Town is located in the eastern part of Chongqing Municipality at the intersection of Chongqing, Shaanxi, Hubei and Hubei provinces and cities, with a history of more than 1,700 years and an area of 188.8 square kilometers. With a total population of 46,979, 30 administrative villages and 4 neighborhood committees, it is the center of the Little Three Gorges Golden Tourism Area and the northern tourism corridor of Wushan, as well as the largest three-phase immigrant town of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area.
