Miaoya Township is located in 107 degrees east longitude, 29 degrees north latitude, located in the western part of Wulong County, 75 kilometers away from the county seat, 122 kilometers away from Chongqing. It borders with Duckjiang Township Sending Moon Hsien Ling Village to the east, Duckjiang Baohe Village and Shiling Village to the south, Fenglai Township Gaolou Village to the west, and Fuling Taihe Township and Tongle Township to the north. The township covers an area of 35.9 square kilometers, which is the smallest township in the county. The existing cultivated land area is 12,420 mu.
