Dahuaping Town, belonging to Huoshan County, Lu'an City, Anhui Province, is located in the southwestern part of Huoshan County, bordering Foziling Town in the east, connecting with Sun Township in the south, neighboring with Danshuihe Township in the west, and connecting with Liao'erling Township in the north, and is 104 km away from Lu'an City in the south, and 176 km away from the capital of the province, Hefei City, in the west, with the total area of the region of 230.9 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Dahuaping Town had a household population of 23,468. At the beginning of liberation, it was Dahuaping Township; in 1985, it was changed from Dahuaping Township to Dahuaping Town.
