Shushan District, belonging to Hefei City, Anhui Province, is located in the southwest of Hefei City, with a total area of 663 square kilometers. It is bounded by Jinzhai Road and Baohai District in the east, neighboring Luyang District with West Huancheng Road and Nanfang River in the north, and bordering Feixi County in the west and south. Shushan District, formerly known as the third district of Hefei City, Anhui Province, the West Urban District. on January 21, 1949, Hefei was liberated, and on February 1 of the same year, Hefei was divided into the first, second, and third districts. in November 1951, the CPC Hefei City West Urban District Committee and the district government were established. in March 2002, according to the needs of the Hefei construction and development, the four districts of the city were re-adjusted and re-divided, and West Urban District was renamed Shushan District, because it is surrounded by Hefei and the West Urban District, and the district government is located in the West Urban District.
