Shitai County, part of Chizhou City, Anhui Province, is located between latitude 29°59′-30°24′ north and longitude 117°12′-117°59′ east, in the southern part of Anhui Province and the western part of the southern Anhui mountains, with a total area of 1,413 square kilometers.
