Huashan District, belonging to Maanshan City, Anhui Province, is located in the eastern part of Maanshan City, the core circle of Nanjing Metropolitan Area, east and north of Nanjing City, west of the Yangtze River, south of Yushan District, the district covers a total area of 179 square kilometers. Huashan District belongs to the north subtropical humid monsoon climate zone, the terrain is dominated by plains and hills, and the terrain is high in the east and low in the west. As of zero hour on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Huashan District is 450,983 people. In 1964, the Jinjiazhuang Street Office and Huashan Street Office were established.In 1976, the district was changed to the Sihxin District and Huashan District.In 1979, the Sihxin District was renamed Jinjiazhuang District.In September 2012, the Jinjiazhuang District and Huashan District of Maanshan City were abolished, and the new Huashan District was established.
