Suixi County, part of Huaibei City, Anhui Province, is located in the southern part of Huaibei City, bordering Yongqiao District, Suzhou City, and Huaiyuan County, Bengbu City, to the east and southeast, respectively; Yongcheng City, Henan Province, to the west and northwest; Mengcheng County, Bozhou City, and Eddy County, to the west and southwest; and Xiangshan District, Lishan District, and Lieshan District, to the north and northeast. On July 1, 1950, Suixi County was established in the western part of Suzhou County and belonged to the Suzhou County Administrative Office of the North Anhui People's Administrative Office, and on January 12, 1977, it belonged to Huaibei City.
