Yuhui District, belonging to Bengbu City, Anhui Province, is located in the west of Bengbu City and on the south bank of the Huai River. It is bounded by Bengshan District by Chaoyang Road, Yanshan Road and Bengxi Road in the east, connected with Huaiyuan County and Huashang District by Huaihe River in the west and north respectively, and bordered by Fengyang County and Huainan City in the south. The total area is 331 square kilometers, including 114 square kilometers of high-tech zone. As of October 2021, Yuhui District is under the jurisdiction of 5 streets, 2 towns, and 1 township, with a total of 36 administrative villages and 32 community neighborhood committees. According to the seventh population census, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Yuhui District was 325,814 people.
Yuhui was the ancient state of the Tushan clan, and as the place where Dayu met his vassals, it is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization and Dayu culture. Yuhui District is home to the Huaihe River Gate 4A Grade Water Conservancy Scenic Area, natural landscapes such as the Tianhe River, Tu Mountain, Zhanggong Mountain and Heihu Mountain, and historical and cultural relics such as the Yu Market, Yuwang Palace and Diaoyutai.
In 2021, the gross regional product of Yuhui District amounted to 22.37 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.1% from the previous year at comparable prices. By industry, the added value of the primary industry is 550 million yuan, the added value of the secondary industry is 10.42 billion yuan; the added value of the tertiary industry is 11.4 billion yuan, and the structure of the three industries is 2.4:46.6:51.
