Longzihu District, under the Bengbu City, Anhui Province. Located in the eastern part of Bengbu City, north of the centerline of the Quasi-River channel and Huaishang District, Wuhe County Binlian, east and south of the border with Fengyang County, west of Bengshan District adjacent to a total area of 161.68 square kilometers. As of October 2021, Longzihu District has 6 streets, 1 town and 1 township under its jurisdiction. According to the seventh census, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Longzihu District was 216,875 people.
Longzihu District, named after Longzi Lake situated in the territory. In the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), Bengbu was established as a city, with five districts, namely Dong'an, Guoqing, Zhongshan, Xishi and Xiaobengbu. In 38th year of R.O.C., Dong'an and Guoqing districts were merged into Guo'an district, and in 1951, Guo'an district was renamed Dongshi city, which was renamed Longzi Lake district in 2004. The main tourist attractions include Longzi Lake Scenic Area, Tanghe Tomb and Cone Mountain Forest Park.
In 2021, the gross regional product of Longzi Lake District was 11.36 billion yuan, an increase of 5.9%. Among them, the added value of primary industry is 190 million yuan, the added value of secondary industry is 3.62 billion yuan; the added value of tertiary industry is 7.54 billion yuan, and the structure of three industries is 1.7:31.9:66.4.
