Linwei District, belonging to Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the southwest of Weinan City, bordering Huazhou District in the east, Lantian County, Xi'an City in the south, Lintong District, Xi'an City in the west, Fuping County in the northwest, Pucheng County in the north, and Dali County in the northeast, with an area of 1,263.76 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Linwei District has 13 streets and 14 towns under its jurisdiction.At the end of 2022, Linwei District had a resident population of 714,000 people.

Among them, the added value of primary industry was 6.141 billion yuan, an increase of 4.6%, accounting for 17% of the GDP; the added value of secondary industry was 7.555 billion yuan, an increase of 2.5%, accounting for 21% of the GDP; the added value of tertiary industry was 22.475 billion yuan, an increase of 2.6%, accounting for 62% of the GDP.
