Dongchangfu District, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, is located in the western part of Shandong Province, the central part of Liaocheng City, depending on Dong'a County and Chiping District in the east, Yanggu County in the south, Guanxian County and Xin County in the west, and Linqing City in the north. The total area of the district is 1,245 square kilometers. As of March 2023, the resident population of Dongchangfu District was 1,058,000 people. As of October 2021, Dongchangfu District has 10 streets, 13 towns, and another service center. The People's Government of the district is located in Liuyuan Street.
Dongchangfu District has a long history. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Dongchangfu benefited from the prosperity of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal canal transportation, and its economic prosperity and culture flourished, becoming one of the nine major commercial ports along the river, and was known as "a capital in the north of the river". By the end of 2009, there were 1 national 4A-level tourist scenic area, 2 3A-level scenic spots, and 2 national agrotourism demonstration sites. in March 2020, Dongchangfu District was awarded the title of Advanced County of National Village Cleaning Action, which was notified by the Central Agricultural Office and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and in 2020, Dongchangfu District will be awarded as one of China's top 100 counties and cities for summer leisure.
In 2020, the gross domestic product of Dongchangfu District will complete 47 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 3%.
