Yucheng District, belonging to Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, is located in the western edge of the Sichuan Basin, Qionglai Mountains, the eastern foot of the middle reaches of the Qingyi River, the Chengdu Plain to the Tibetan Plateau Transitional Belt, due to the "Western Sichuan Sky Leakage" and the name, known as the "throat of Western Sichuan", "Tibet It is known as "the throat of western Sichuan", "the gateway to Tibet" and "the ethnic corridor". Yucheng District is located at the gateway of Sichuan and Tibet, guarding the main pass of Sichuan and Yunnan, and was once the capital of Xikang Province, and is now the seat of the municipal party committee and municipal government of Ya'an City, which is named "Yucheng" because of the abundant precipitation.On March 31, 2020, Yucheng District was selected as the advanced county of Sichuan Province in the year of 2019 for the rural reform work.
