Pingluo County, belongs to Shizuishan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It lies between 105°57′42″-106°58′02″ East Longitude and 38°36′18″-39°51′13″ North Latitude, and is located in the front zone of economic zones such as the National Silk Road Economic Belt, the Hubao-Yin Energy Golden Triangle, and the Yellow City Belt of Ningxia, and is 60 kilometers away from Yinchuan Hedong Airport, and 30 kilometers away from the Ningxia Huinong Land Port, which is the only county of Shizuishan City to be established. As of 2022, Pingluo County has an average resident population of 275,000 people. Pingluo County has 13 townships under its jurisdiction, with a total county area of 2,060 square kilometers, and the county people's government is located in Chengguan Town. Pingluo County is an ancient historical and cultural city, an ecological city mainly developing trade circulation, light industry, agricultural and sideline product processing, science and technology, environmental protection industry and tourism, and a fish and rice town in the northwest, enjoying the reputation of "a small Jiangnan on the Seaside". Famous monuments include Yuhuang Pavilion, Bell and Drum Tower, Tianzhou Tower and Shahu Tourist Attractions. Pingluo County has been listed as one of the second batch of national comprehensive pilot areas for new urbanization, selected as one of the top 100 counties and cities in the country in terms of investment potential, and a national model area (unit) for the creation of national unity and progress. In 2022, Pingluo County completed a gross regional product of 22.888 billion yuan, an increase of 5.2% over the same period of the previous year at constant prices.
