Mashizhen, belonging to Taihe County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the southwestern part of the territory of Taihe County, in the plains of the lower reaches of the Shushui River and in the marginal hilly land, adjoining Chengjiang Town in the east, connecting to Suxi Town in the west, bordering with WoShi and Lixi Towns in the north, and connecting to Wan'an County in the south. The town is 137 square kilometers, with 21 administrative villages and 1 community under its jurisdiction.At the end of 2019, there were 39,100 people with household registration under the jurisdiction of Mashizhen. Mashizhen has convenient transportation, with 105 National Highway and Gan-Yue Expressway running through the whole territory, 15 km from Taihe County and Taihe Station, and 10 km from Jinggangshan Airport. At the end of 2019, there were 26 industrial enterprises and 33 general stores or supermarkets with business area of 50 square meters or more under the jurisdiction of Ma Shi Town.
