Shigu District, belonging to Hengyang City, Hunan Province, is located in the northwestern part of the urban area of Hengyang City, east of Xiangjiang River and Zhuhui District across the river, south of Jiefang Avenue as the border with Yanfeng District, west of Steam Xiang North Road Steam Bridge and along the Steam Water River and successively border with Steam Xiang District and Hengyang County, and north of Hengyang County Zhangmu Xiangxiang and Jibing Township, with a total area of 112 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Shigu District has six streets and one town under its jurisdiction. As of the end of 2021, Shigu District had a resident population of 222,100.
