Deshan Town is located in Deshan Industrial Zone, 5 kilometers from the city center. By the end of 2003, the area was 54 square kilometers, with a population of 30,100 people. The township government is located in Dongting South Road. To the east, the Shi Chang Railway passes through the city and has the largest cargo station on the whole line. In the south, there are National Highway 319 and 207 and Changchang High-level Highway. In the west, there is Changde Airport. In the north, there is Yuan River.
