Louxing District, under Loudi City, Hunan Province, is located in the central part of Hunan Province, bordering Xiangxiang City in the east, Shuangfeng County in the south, Lianyuan City in the west and Ningxiang County in the north. It lies between 111°56′-112°03′ east longitude and 27°41′-27°47′ north latitude, with an east-west span of 23.9 kilometers and a north-south length of 14.2 kilometers. The total area is 630.02 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Louxing District is under the jurisdiction of 7 streets, 5 towns and 1 township. As of the end of 2022, the resident population of Lousing District is 754,300 people. Lousing District is the only county-level district in Loudi City, the only central city, the territory is rich in natural landscapes, there are Tianlaiyan (Sacred Rock Cave), Hongjiashan Forest Park, Wushifeng Guanyin Temple and Shuangjiang Sacred Immortal Cave, Shufumiao Reservoir and other attractions.
