Neiqiu County, belonging to Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwestern part of Hebei Province, with Xiangdu District, Xindu District and Renze District in the south, Longyao County in the east and Lincheng County in the north, with a temperate continental monsoon climate and a total area of 787 square kilometers. As of June 2021, it has jurisdiction over 5 towns, 4 townships, and 1 provincial-level industrial park. As of the end of 2020, Neiqiu County had a total household population of 297,504.
Neiqiu County was the land of Xing State during the Western Zhou Dynasty, and the land of Zhao State of Jin at the beginning of the Spring and Autumn Period; Zhongqiu County was set up in the Western Han Dynasty; at the beginning of the Kaihuang Period of Sui Dynasty, Zhongqiu County was changed to Neiqiu County due to the taboo of avoiding the name of Yang Zhong, and Neiqiu County was established under the jurisdiction of Xingtai City, which merged with Xingtai District in 1993.
Neiqiu County is connected to the "five major transportation arteries" of 107 National Highway, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Beijing-Guangzhou High Speed Railway, Xingshi Avenue, Taihangshan Expressway, Xingheng Expressway, S328 Provincial Highway and so on.
Neiqiu County has won the "National Greening Model County", "National Advanced County of Ecological Civilization", "National Advanced County of Science and Technology Progress", "National Advanced County of Civil Affairs", "National Advanced County of Civil Affairs" and "National Advanced County of Civil Affairs". On December 13, 2018, Neiqiu County was selected into the list of China's characteristic agricultural products advantageous zones, and in March 2019, it was listed as the first batch of revolutionary cultural relics protection and utilization piece area counties.
In 2022, the gross domestic product of Neiqiu County completed 755,172,000 yuan, an increase of 0.1% over the previous year at comparable prices.
