Wenchang City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Hainan Province, is located in the northeastern part of Hainan Island, with geographic coordinates between latitude 19°21'-20°1'N and longitude 110°28'-111°03'E. The city has a total land area of 2,488 square kilometers, and a sea area of 5,245 square kilometers. The terrain of Wenchang City slopes from the southwest inland to the northeast coast, with rivers such as Wenjiao River, Zhuxi River, Wenchang River, Shibi River and Beishui River, etc. The city has a tropical monsoon oceanic climate, with abundant rainfall, abundant sunshine, a warm climate, no frost all year round, and four seasons are not clearly defined, with no scorching heat in the summer and no severe cold in the winter. In 2022, Wenchang City completed a gross regional product of 34.399 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.9% at comparable prices. Among them: the added value of primary industry is 12.436 billion yuan, up 5.9% year-on-year; the added value of secondary industry is 7.819 billion yuan, up 8.9% year-on-year; the added value of tertiary industry is 14.144 billion yuan, flat year-on-year.
