Mapo Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Luchuan County, Yulin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the northern part of Luchuan County, adjoining Beiliu City in the east, Pingle Town and Shanluo Town in the northeast, Xinqiao Town in the Fumian Management District of Yulin City in the west, bordering with Miba Town and Shahu Town in the south and Nanjiang Town of Yulin City in the north, with an area of 145.2 square kilometers of administrative area.
During the Qing Dynasty, it was called Arongbao.In 1984, it was changed to Mapo Town. As of the end of 2018, the total number of households in Mapo Town was 29,800, with a total population of 107,400; as of the end of 2019, Mapo Town was under the jurisdiction of 1 community and 13 administrative villages, and the town's people's government was stationed at No. 01, Town South Road, Mapo Street.
