Beiliu City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, administered by Yulin City, is located in the eastern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Its geographical coordinates are 22°08′33′′-22°55′14′′ north latitude and 110°07′38′′-110°47′00′′ east longitude, with a total area of 2,457 square kilometers. In 1279, Beiliu was under the jurisdiction of Rongzhou Road, and in 1997, Yulin District was abolished and Yulin City was established at the prefecture level, and in 1998, the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region agreed that Beiliu City would be under the administration of Yulin City. Beiliu City has Luozhan Railway, Nanguang Expressway, Yutie Expressway passing through its territory, and Nanning (Suxu) - Beiliu (Qingwan) Expressway is under construction. Famous scenic spots include: the Taoist Twenty-two Caves and Holes, Copper Stone Ridge, a copper smelting site of the Han Dynasty famous for casting the world's king of copper drums, Dairong Mountain, the first peak in southeast Gui, and the Ghost Gate Pass.
