Luocheng Mulao Autonomous County, belongs to Hechi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in the north of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the east of Hechi City. With a total area of 2,651 square kilometers, in 2022, the total household population was 386,100, and the resident population was 271,100. There are Zhuang, Mulao, Yao, Miao, Dong and other ethnic minorities (only the point of hereditary ethnic groups). As of October 2022, Luocheng Mulao Autonomous County has 7 towns and 4 townships under its jurisdiction.
During the Liang Dynasty of the Southern China, Tanzhong County was analyzed to form Huangshui County, and in 2002, Lucheng was transferred to Hechi City. On November 20, 2020, the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region approved Lucheng Mulao Autonomous County to withdraw from the sequence of poverty-stricken counties.
In 2022, the gross regional product of Luocheng Mulao Autonomous County was 7.493 billion yuan, an increase of 5.6% over the previous year. Among them, the added value of primary industry is 2.973 billion yuan, the added value of secondary industry is 977 million yuan; the added value of tertiary industry is 3.543 billion yuan, an increase of 3.1%.
