Introduction
Nansha District, a municipal district of Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, is the sub-center of Guangzhou City, located in the southernmost part of Guangzhou City, on the west bank of the Humen Waterway of the Pearl River, where the Xijiang River, Beijiang River and Dongjiang River converge. The district has a total area of 803 square kilometers. As of December 2023, Nansha District has four streets and six towns under its jurisdiction, with the district people's government stationed in Nansha Street. As of the end of 2022, Nansha District had a resident population of 929,400 and a household population of 542,000.
