Suide County, belongs to Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. It is one of the deputy center cities of Yulin City, the regional center city of Luliang Mountain Area and the center city of National Yellow River Park, located in the southeast of Yulin City. It is adjacent to Wubao County in the east, Zizhou County in the west, Qingjian County in the south, Mili County in the north, Jia County in the northeast, and Liulin County in the southeast across the Yellow River, with a total area of 1,853 square kilometers; in 2022, Suide County had a household population of 345,300, and a resident population of 252,900. As of June 2023, Suide County has 15 towns under its jurisdiction. The name Suide means "Suimin to Virtue". Suide County was established in the third year of Jin Zhengda (1226). It is the old revolutionary area of northern Shaanxi, the landing point of the Central Red Army in northern Shaanxi, and the experimental reform demonstration area of the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region. It is a traditional agricultural county in northern Shaanxi. National advanced county of culture and the hometown of Chinese folk art, various types of non-legacy lists at all levels amount to 47 items in eight categories.On May 7, 2019, the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government approved Suide County to withdraw from the sequence of poverty-stricken counties. In 2022, Suide County's gross regional product was 12.018 billion yuan, an increase of 3.5%. Among them: the added value of primary industry is 2.479 billion yuan, the added value of secondary industry is 1.058 billion yuan; the added value of tertiary industry is 8.481 billion yuan, an increase of 2.6%.
