Chengcheng County, belonging to Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the eastern part of Guanzhong Basin, the northeast of the Weibei Plateau, adjoining Dali County in the south, bordering Huanglong County in the north, separated from the Dabu River and Heyang County in the east, and bordering Luohe River in the west and neighboring with Pucheng County, with a total area of 1,121 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Chengcheng County has 1 street and 9 towns under its jurisdiction. As of the end of 2022, Chengcheng County has a resident population of 299,500 people.
Chengcheng County has a long history, the history of Xia and Shang belonged to Yong, Spring and Autumn belonged to Jin, Qin set up the North Zhenyi, Han set up Zhenxian, the Northern Wei Taiping years began to build Chengcheng County. There are 5 national key cultural relics protection units such as Yao Tou Kiln Site, Liang Zhou Qin Han Palace Site, Jing Jin Temple Pagoda and 2 national intangible cultural heritage protection projects such as Yao Tou Ceramics Firing Technique and Cheng Cheng Embroidery. Liu Jiawa Ancient Tomb Cluster was selected as one of the top ten national archaeological new discoveries in 2018, and was determined to be the graveyard of the ruler of the state of Rui in the early Spring and Autumn period. The Longshou Canal Yiluo Ancient Irrigation District was selected as the World Irrigation Engineering Heritage. in October 2019, it was selected to the list of National Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Counties.
In 2022, Chengcheng County realized a gross regional product of 12.513 billion yuan, of which: the added value of the primary industry was 4.143 billion yuan, the added value of the secondary industry was 3.148 billion yuan, and the added value of the tertiary industry was 5.222 billion yuan.
